About Me

I'm a recent grad from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Communication. I'm also a big computer nerd - I've been making websites since I was 12 years old.

My foundation as a self-taught designer started in 1998, making my first website mockups in MS Paint for fun. This early passion was what inspired me to pursue a career in web and graphic design.

We've come a long way from the days when websites were based in Netscape and frames - as a mainly self-taught designer, I continually keep up to date with the latest techniques and practices. Web design standards are especially important to me so all of my websites are W3C compliant. In all my work, my philosophy is to fully understand the content strategy and then create a design based around it that is clear, brand-consistent, and visually engaging.

During those rare times when I'm away from my trusty Mac, you're likely to find me wandering around Stanley Park, hitting the ski slopes, or in the nearest sushi house.
